FIT provides the Cedar Valley with an amazing selection of high quality fitness classes to fit your needs. Our members gain access to our free weekly fitness classes, while our Next Level program provides a high-intensity bootcamp-style course for those interested in something more. Learn more about all our class options below.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

TRX™ Suspension Training:

The original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. The TRX TM Suspension Trainer delivers a fast, effective total-body workout, helps build a rock-solid core, and increases muscular endurance.

Spin

The best of spin bikes – with varying resistance, these fun cycling workouts will help you burn more calories and drip more sweat than you ever thought possible on a bike.

Fit Power Yoga

Yoga in all forms can enhance, flexibility, psyche, fitness and many other aspects of wellness. Hot yoga benefits your body and mind through meditation, focused breathing, as well as weight loss benefits. In a room that reaches 90 degrees, you will sweat out toxins while allowing your body to safely move deeper into stretches through a fusion of Power, Cardio, and Vinyasa yoga – moving with the breath between postures, holding each pose for a few breaths, and adding intensity through optional dynamic movement in held poses.

Vin To Yin Yoga

Vin to Yin yoga, also referred to as Yin Yang yoga is a combination of Vinyasa and Yin Sequences. The first half of class will be a Vinyasa sequence, warming the body up. Vinyasa yoga is an energizing practice, moving with your breathe. The second half of class will be a Yin sequence. Yin yoga is a practice in which you hold poses for a longer period of time. Yin yoga improves range of motion and flexibility, strengthens joints and helps get rid of mental clutter in order to reduce stress.

Power Hour

A class for anyone looking to get lean, toned, and fit. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, Pump Express gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through moves and techniques while helping you achieve results!

H. I. I. T.

HIIT class is a total body, cardio and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines
full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your
endurance. Modifications for all fitness levels are provided.

Greatest H.I.I.T.s

This class will be filled with all your favorite jams to encourage you to push yourself to the max, focusing on H.I.I.T. group workouts that leave you feeling accomplished and starts your day off right!

Barre

Barre is a hybrid workout class, combining ballet inspired moves with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Utilizing a traditional ballet barre, small weights and balls, barre focuses on muscles in the legs, core and glutes. Barre uses a series of targeted, repetitive, low impact movements that burns fat and tones muscles. This class is for any fitness level!

Body Blast

This class is a high intensity class designed to improve cardio conditioning, Alternating between cardio, strength balance, and core training segments.

Total Body Circuits

Total Body Circuits is a high intensity total body workout with stations of high-intensity exercises targeting strength building, and muscular endurance with a total body focus.

Upper & Lower Body Circuits

Built around using the TRX suspension trainer, upper and lower body circuits will aim to improve core strength, muscular stability, and muscular endurance with a specific body part focus. Every class will bring multiple varieties of exercises and equipment in a motivating environment to challenge your body.

Boot Camp

Boot Camp incorporates the benefits of strength, HIIT and functional training styles through ever changing workouts in a motivating environment that pushes you to your maximum potential! 60 minute class that is for all fitness levels.

Zen Sculpt

This class combines yoga with weights! This form of light resistance training integrates yoga postures and movements practiced at a steady pace for an added cardiovascular component. Beginning with a few moments of centering and dynamic stretching to create a solid foundation. Be challenged in a new way with a mix of sun salutes, vinyasas, strength drills, floor exercises, cardio, and tons of booty and ab work. In 45 minutes you will tone up, stretch out, and get your mind ready for the rest of your day.

Hot Vinyasa Flow

Our instructor will using Vinyasa Flow Yoga, a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. Yoga can enhance, flexibility, psyche, fitness and many other aspects of wellness. Hot yoga benefits your body and mind through meditation, focused breathing, as well as weight loss benefits. In a room that nearly reaches 90 degrees, you will sweat out toxins while allowing your body to safely move deeper into stretches.

Walk This Weigh

In this class we will slow it down while still working every muscle. We will utilize free weights, your body weight, stability balls, and more to challenge all of your muscle’s power walking between each set. Let’s get strong and stay strong!

KIDS CLASS SCHEDULE

Kids membership or day pass required to participate. These high energy classes are a fun way to stay active, healthy, and burn off energy. Starting at 2 years of age, we have classes available for all kids. No previous experience required. Ages listed by classes are a guideline and not a hard cut off. Try different classes to find your best fit.

KIDS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

WIGGLE WORMS (2-5 years)

Introduce your child to fitness with this fun beginners class. This class provides a variety of activities to help your child learn and develop motor skills, flexibility, and balance.

NEXT STEP FITNESS (6-9 years)

Help your child take the next step on their fitness journey. Next Step Fitness helps develop motor skills, strength, endurance, and flexibility while participating in various fitness activities, games, and obstacle courses. No previous experience required.

GAME CHANGER (10 and up)

Need an edge up on your game? Improve your child’s speed, agility, and strength with this fun, high energy, and explosive fitness class. Whether your child plays a sport or not, this class is a fun way to stay fit and active.

FIT KIDS

We offer FREE child care so you can take full advantage of your gym membership! FIT Kids is a program we are very proud to offer.

NEXT LEVEL

BY FIT

Next Level by FIT is a bootcamp style group fitness class led by passionate trainers incorporating kickboxing, weights, cardio, and more to deliver incredible results. Enjoy free child care, free FIT gym membership, and nutritional guidance with your Next Level by FIT membership.
